Luxury family pension in the style of Giant Mountains timbered house is situated in an attractive mountain and calm environment of Mala Upa at an altitude of 1 050 meters above sea level with a total capacity of 25 beds. Accommodation is prepared in the stylishly furnished rooms equipped with shower and toilet. There are rooms. 1 -, 2 -, 3 - bedded and one 4-bed with the possibility to borrow a color television with satellite receiver. There are two dining rooms with television and a satellite receiver and video player. Family of Stanislav Zmítko managed to keep aftere the total reconstruction the original character of timbered house with a stylish contemporary furnishings. In the pension Vera smoking only on reserved places and for extra it is possible to have a small pets.

Boarding provides dining room with stylish furniture and functional tile stove and a nice view of the Snezka. The second dining room in the glass porch serves as a cafe with a beautiful view of Cerna Hora. To our guests from the morning we offer a rich Czech breakfast! Lunch can be purchased. From 16 -17 pm is served several types of coffee with homemade cakes, which prepares the mother of house owner, after which the pension is named - "VERA."
Horni Mala Upa accommodation pension Vera:
Special of the pension Vera is a pancake with fruit and whipped cream. Dinner consists of soup, main dish of a typical Czech cuisine and fresh salad bifé. Meals are prepared and made by the owner of the pension. After dinner it will be offered "Becherovka". Varied is the offer of Czech beer, such as Pilsen, Budvar or black beer Lobkowice.
Accommodation Pec pod Snezkou pension Mala Upa Pension Vera:
Directly under the pension begins cross-country route "Haida" and only a piece of way from here there is a practice meadow with ski-tow "Hybnerka" (the price of one ticket is 10 CZK). Directly at the pension there is a small hill for children for sledging or bobsledding. After breakfast it is possible to go to the stop od SKI bus, which is distant from the pension only 100 m and go FREE to the area "U Kostela", where there are three ski tows long (1 000 m, 800 m, 400 m and the price of the fare is 12,-CZK to 15, - CZK - with artificial snowing and night skiing).

In Mala Upa there is a small swimming pool with solarium and massages. Rental of ski and snowboards, pool, playground, groceries, post office, sale of souvenirs. Cinema is located in Janske Lazne or in Trutnov. In summer it is nice and romantic evening walk in Mala Upa. This quiet and romantic corner of Giant Mountains to humans act as a balm to the nerves, in today's very hurried time. There is also a very pleasant walk through the colonnade in Janske Lazne, where is located for the young the Disco "Na Lesance". The other disco is in Trutnov in MOBIDIK, where is on Fridays the music even for the middle generation. It is possible to visit the bowling in Svoboda nad Upou.
